Well the 2023 Season is underway here with Chasing Fins and we are very excited for the season ahead, welcoming very well known faces back onto the river bank but also like most seasons, welcoming new faces along too.
After an Incredible first half to our Spring Season, kicking off towards the end of March with our first fresh fish, the fishing got better and better as the weeks progressed.

Chasing Fins are delighted to announce we are working in partnership with Alba Game Fishing. Alba provides fishing trips and “bespoke fishing and touring vacations" throughout Scotland for salmon, trout, sea trout, grayling and saltwater species.
After years of my mother pestering me for casting lessons and trying to fit it in around guiding abroad and guiding back home, this Spring has given me and my mam a great chance to spend some quality time together on the river and teach her the wonderful art of spey casting.
