Chasing Fins are delighted to announce we have teamed up with Aardvark McLeod to offer our guests a series of exclusive guided salmon and seatrout fly fishing trips on the River Tweed and its tributaries. Locations will be selected to best suit the conditions at the time covering the 96 miles of the Tweed system including access to exclusive private beats. We will look to offer anglers the chance to experience both the main river and the stunningly beautiful tributaries such as the River Whiteadder and River Till.

Our quarry will be Salmon and Seatrout which have been fished for in the Scottish Borders and Northumberland since angling was invented as a sport! With fantastic runs of both in previous seasons the sport on offer has fantastic potential with every chance of a trophy fish – it really is a fly fishers paradise! Chasing fins can provide everything you need for your trip from the latest high-end tackle and equipment through to customised catering utilising private chefs and the finest local ingredients.

Cost based on 4 nights single room, full board, 3 days guided fishing and transfers to/from the fishing each day:
One person: £2,060 per person including VAT
Two People: £1,630 per person including VAT
Three People: £1,480 per person including VAT
Guests will be based in the delightful Granby Inn in Longframlington, near Alnwick. The Granby Inn and Restaurant is a character filled old Coaching Inn that offers fine dining for the knowledgeable food enthusiast. It is ideally situated in the heart of Northumberland, on the A697 just north of Morpeth and within easy reach of the beautiful Northumbrian coast, the Cheviot Hills, the Borders and the ancient town of Alnwick – of Hardy Brothers fame.
It is a wonderful base for anglers looking to explore the area. We will meet you each morning at the Inn to take you to your fishing. Journey times range from 30 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes depending on the river of choice that day.
