A quick update on our 2021 season so far:

A spring to remember for Chasing Fins!!
Iv been very lucky in my past life to have fished and guided on some of the best rivers in the world….
But what I witnessed this spring was up there with some of the best salmon fishing I have ever encountered. Truly amazing.
We ended our 2021 spring with 23 spring salmon landed and a massive amount of fish lost (The ones that got away)

All fish were landed on single handed fly rods and small dressed flies and 3/4inch tubes. The fish were very eager to chase a fly and take it from the surface. This made the fishing extremely exciting, watching these amazing fish come out of the depths and eagerly take the fly from in front of you.

Among the great catches was Donnie’s magical three day trip. He had never landed a salmon before he came to us. He landed a magical 12Ib sea liced fish on his first day and went on to land a few more fish over his other days.
Tom Holloway who is one of our sea fishing guides landed his first spring salmon on the fly at the lower end of the stretch. A beautiful sea liced fish which made an amazing account of itself on his single handed 8weight sage XP. Gary Broadley hooked a magical fish in the upper gorge and had to follow it downstream 100 yards through two waterfalls before landing it. A fish around 10/11Ibs.
